Holds up wonderfully even in March 2023!! Oh man, yeah!
These gents are so humble and freaking fun and obviously ardent fans of the show! Wish they were still waxing rhapsodic about it fwiw... I'm late to the Patriot train (lol oops Lakeman hates train refs) so I'm iso any and all Patriot nourishment I can find! FLAT OUT! 101! Get yer butts over to our sub Reddit and help us with our plate processing! "And my friends are with me"

Great podcast! You get an A-
Rewatching Patriot for the 3rd or 4th time whenI found this. Lots of entertaining and insightful commentary, going beyond the usual boring recaps and fanboy gushing from other TV podcasts. But…you got the theme song wrong in episode 1! Maybe it gets corrected in a later episode. Other than that, outstanding work, thanks for deepening my love of this amazing show

Good for first time watchers, Decent for 2nd time+ watchers
Their dialogue and discussion is fun, but it wasn’t as engaging since I have watched the whole series more than once. Thank you guys for making a podcast to discuss Patriot, which is one of the most put together shows, with beautifully resolved plot lines and well developed characters.

    Belated thanks!
For those of us criminally late to the Patriot party, this podcast is a gift. I really wanted a fan podcast to listen to as I go through my first watch, and this is exactly the right balance of analysis, recap, and humor. So grateful this exists!

Great podcast about a great show.
After rewatching Patriot for the 4th time and getting through the last year by occasionally watching an episode, I was looking around online and found this. I love Luke Burbank on NPR and both of these gentlemen have an open invitation to my McMillan themed birthday party next year. So far it’s just me and my wife and I as we doubt any of the characters will come as they would need to come in character, but if we can get the Harbaugh, it’s on. Also, screw Greg12.

    Brilliant podcast of favorite show
The writing, acting and dark humor of patriot made it a win for me. The same characteristics are true of this podcast. Have cycled through both the show and The Podcast several times.

    Brilliant
Patriot was one of the smartest shows ever made. That is why are not getting another season. 😪

    U guys R awesome
I can’t believe that this show isn’t a hit. For the same reasons you both have espoused on the show, fantastic writing great acting and just killer black comedy that continues to surprise and entertain. How some other garbage is a hit and stays on tv I don’t know? But thanks to you guys I am now into the new show on epix. I really appreciate the show and sorry I still haven’t checked out your other show but I will.

    Revive Patriot
My hope is more and more people talk about Patriot until it gets enough momentum to allow season three to be made (and in season 3 we just see John smiling with his friends and family, just biking across Europe, for like 10 episodes, that’s all I want) Thanks for the show!

    cool.
Luke and Andrew are broadcasting vets that naturally build community with their projects. It is great to see MM creating a new community around great art and tragic comedy with Patriot fans and the show’s creators.

Great show about a great show
Patriot is the most layered, smartest tv show I’ve seen in ages, and even though I’ve watched it twice, I still want more, and this podcast helps scratch the itch.

    Big fan
I listen to a lot of fan podcasts. (Probably too many, but that’s a conversation for my therapist and me.) MM contains of all the elements I love into one fan podcast. It's a mix of fanboy gushing, nuanced scene and character examinations, empathetic contemplations, quick wit, and deep dives into who can pull of sexy baldness. To put it briefly: it’s dimensional. What I especially like is the hosts not only focus on the show as a product, but also as a creative process, by highlighting the work of the creators (the actors, directors, wardrobe, set designers, music, etc.) throughout the episodes.
