    Great concept, poor delivery
It’s possible that I chose the wrong episode to sample, but it was so painfully annoying to listen to. And no, it’s not because women are talking. I’m a woman who sometimes talks for a living, believe in women articulating women’s experiences and promoting the inclusion of women in our remembrance of history, and I love other podcasts by women. I listened to 1/2 of the episode on Alice Marble and found the presentation to be abhorrent. The adult podcaster seemed to either dumb herself down to earn the approval of her 15 yr old guest—which is insulting to the 15 yr old, not to mention pathetic—or was actually that daft. Either way, it was annoying at best. How unfortunate, rewriting women into history is so important for us, and our progeny. Maybe after a long break and recovery, I’ll be give it another shot, maybe without a child present the adult wouldn’t feel compelled to talk like a child.

    Great start
Have loved Erin on Throwing Shade for years. This pod is refreshing as heck. I learn, I laugh, and truly appreciate an opportunity to familiarize with the unfamiliar. Subscribed without hesitation 😗

    Angry women
These women have daddy issues. And the use of profanity, brings this podcast to a new low.

Great podcast, excellent concept. Love, love Erin Gibson. Talented & clever, everything she touches turns feminasty!

    Don’t run terrible ads
I can tell you that I’ll never listen to this podcast just because of the terrible, loud, annoying ads for it that pop up about every two seconds. Please don’t yell.

    Can’t wait for more episodes!
Love Erin Gibson from her Current TV days, so as soon as I heard this podcast advertised, I subscribed immediately. I wasn’t at all disappointed...I love the concept, the co-hosting with a student, and the feminist tilt to bring historical stories of women we’d otherwise probably never hear about.

    This the THE BEST podcast....
I’ve been a fan of Erin Gibson for several years, but this podcast takes my admiration of her to a whole new level. I’ve listened to several of the episodes with my 8 and 12-year-old daughters, and we have found the stories fascinating and always important. Also, we LOVE the inclusion of the brilliant teens that join her for the show. I know a lot about women’s history, but Erin and her research partners manage to dig up a ton of new information, and they offer great suggestions for how to use what you learn in your daily life. Give it a listen, you won’t regret it.

    Erin is a rockstar
Love this! Such a great concept bringing unknown women from history to the forefront with a teenage cohost. Can’t wait to use the suggestions on how to bring the historic women into daily conversation
