    Much needed viewpoints shared! Thanks!
I see lots of old reviews. I don’t know about prior Episodes, but speaking about this Season 11… wow! Great stuff! Thank you!!

    Has gotten pretty whack
I used to really enjoy listening to this podcast back when Merk was around but after she left the podcast seemed to take a more corny and surface level approach to the topics. I tried to stick around to be supportive but I think this podcast needs to call it.
  • MehMehMeh at best.
    One of the WORST
A 7:49 minute intro to the abortion episode has turned me off on this podcast 100%. To be clear, I’m pro choice, but the choice to open an episode with THAT long of a horrible intro, nearly 1/4th the total time of the episode, THAT was a horrible choice. The rest of these episodes, yeah, the name says it all, adult-ish, as in young amateurs who want to be taken as independent professional adults but are too naive, selfish, and unaware to realize that their ignorant whining doesn’t get them a place at the table or a voice in the convo. Do better! Grow up! Hold yourself to REAL standards. This is pathetic.

    A very boring show
This show seems incredibly pointless. Topics discussed seem either incredibly un-important land in the off chance they do stumble upon something that connects with real lives the show treats you like you’re 15. The banter between the hosts seems incredibly scripted and lacks any kind of natural chemistry to help make the mundanity of the topics covered go by faster. There are shows (like Ezra Klein Show) that do a better job of approaching topics relevant to today while also explaining things without making it seem like your back in high school.f

    Genuine
This show makes me laugh out loud, reflect and often makes me emotional. Plus, they have incredible guests. As someone in my early 20s, I feel very seen by this show. Much love to Merk

    Such a positive show!
I found this show a few weeks ago and love it! Every episode is filled with fun and humor, but also talks about important issues and ideas. I’ve learned a lot and had a lot of fun in the way!

    Amazing and relatable content
This show makes me laugh on my runs and I really appreciate how the hosts approach the topics. I love the format of the show also with the stories and then the round table discussions. Thank you both for this awesome podcast!

Well crafted, raw and beautiful work
This podcast is diverse literally and figuratively. The range of emotion that you’ll experience is humbling. Cheery, fun, vulnerable stories, great music and lovable hosts! :)

    Rip-off?
Wait. Is this just a rip-off of the “Adulting” podcast? Adulting was already a released show before this one ever appeared. Just look Adulting up to see for yourself.

Great podcast- cheery, smart, and fun!
This is such a great podcast! I love the tone of the podcast especially. Even though the hosts are discussing serious, impactful issues they sound so happy, cheerful, and like they are having fun and love what they are doing! It’s such a great vibe! Also the guests and conversations are amazing!

    Excellent, for all ages!
I just recently discovered this podcast and have been playing catch up through the previous seasons. Tremendous insights, laugh out loud humor, interesting guests, and creative topics and situations. I also have to say the the newly released episode 1 of season 3 is exceptional in its depth and relatability. Even though the target demographic for this podcast is mostly early 20s, I think it’s content is highly relevant to listeners of any age. So, what are you waiting for?

    Finally listening!
Merk and I shared a Lyft about a year ago and she was SUPER cool! I’m glad she told me about her podcast and that I saved a note to remind me to come back to this when I could. #poppedmypodcastcherry

    So relatable!
Awesome podcast! I can relate to it as a young person of color. I laugh and cry every time. I especially liked the Race ISH episode with Ashlee Haze who has such moving slam poetry. Keep up the great work!

    Great show
This show is so relatable and funny! Any young adults should tune in!

    Helping me with my ish
Love this Pod the cohosts are fabulous and genuine. I feel less alone in this crazy new adult life. Can’t recommend the Momish, Asianish, and Rootsish episodes enough.

    Love this show!
I didn’t know I needed Adult ISH in my life, but as a young adult myself, facing all the challenges that come with independence, it is so refreshing to have Merk and Nyge in my ears every week! I love how their different perspectives work together and how they aren’t afraid to disagree sometimes. A great show!
  • Wheatglo
    Mom-ish
Very touching. The mom stories felt very honest, real, not canned. Thank you😂
  • Darold B.
“OMG, I like, know these people” 😅 Great show, highly recommend!
I went to the same college as Merk did, and can officially say “I knew her back when...” ( Nyge you’re also dope AF!) 😜😂. What you’re getting with this podcast is a ton of passion, expert storytelling, and a dang good way to kill that 30 minute commute to work 😅 In all sincerity, what you’re getting are two people who aren’t afraid to be authentically themselves, and use their life experiences to tell engaging stories that aren’t just entertaining and well-crafted, they’re relatable and can help people (especially young people) feel less alone. Personally, I was sold when I listened to the episode “Mom-Ish,” and Nyge opened-up about the relationship with his mom, and the difficulties with their relationship after she suffered cognitive brain damage. My Mother has manic-depressive bipolar disorder, and while the situations are completely different, Our relationship has been rocky for several years in part because of it. Hearing Nyge’s story made me feel less alone, it made me feel like I wasn’t this horrible person struggling to connect with his Mom. This podcast is relatable, has two people with a lot of talent to offer, and is not only high-quality, it’s highly-authentic and relatable. Take the time and give it listen, you won’t regret it!

I was listening to the Ladies like us by Nazanin and Nadia on my podcast app and you guys poped up on my feed and I guess it was the title of your show that made me click on it because I am an adult-ish lol and from there I went and listened to all your shows from s1, my fav one so far is Momish because I could relate so much to both Merk’s sister and Nygel’s journeys with their parents and yes I cried too! You guys are doing a great job I love your show and I plugged all my adultish friends back home in South Africa to listen to you 😊

    😍😍😍
Found this show in the new section of itunes. We needa have more shows like this! I loled so many times during the body health interviews and in Mom ish the cohosts handle the stories on their moms with care. This show is v wholesome. Really like it! :)
  • Great for babies
    Yeet!
Just kidding, I’m 33. I don’t know what yeet means. I do know that I love this podcast and so will you. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll learn! Much love!

    Love it!
Found the podcast half way through their first season and had to play some catch up but each episode is better than the last! Definitely a podcast to listen to if you’re young or young at heart!
  • Person.
    Love adultish!
These two are funny & entertaining. It’s also nice to have a podcasts to listen to made by people my age so not every young reference doesn’t have to be explained

    One of my favorite podcasts!
I've listened to a few episodes now and it's quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. I love the topics, ideas, and overall concept of the show! It's a great resource for those of us dealing with "Adult-ish" things, and the show covers these experiences in a way that's helpful for people that might not be sure how to think about or navigate them! The two hosts, Merk and Nyge, do a great job of going through their personal experiences for each topic in a fun but also mature way. On top of that, they also have a guest line-up of super cool and diverse people that share their experiences too. Looking forward to hearing more!

    Fresh and necessary!
Merk & Nyge are two fresh voices we need! While I may be a *little* older than the target adult-ish range of listeners, I still enjoy the wide range of topics they cover with unflinching humor and honesty. I wish this podcast was around when I was starting to navigate the messiness of my early 20s, so I'm especially glad to have folks like Merk and Nyge covering all the funny, messy, and difficult topics head on. Give Broke ISH a listen btw. I think we all need to roast our own spending habits from time to time

    I Cry Many Times
It made me cry. Right in the feels. I love it.
  • z😶🤘🏻🥺☁️👀👍🏻
Gives raw perspective and highly entertaining
I appreciate the perspective the co-hosts give on aspects of who they are that I don’t totally identify with like being POC / being a woman because I’m a white dude but because I’m also about the same age as Merk and Nyge I can relate to a lot of the things they talk about. I like how they’re open about nerding out over stuff like superhero universes and it’s sparked some heated discussions over me and my friends. Definitely going to keep listening for the entertainment and relatability.
  • AndyqN
    Gets better with each listen
Momish was the best by far the best episode ive heard. The production quality, the content just everything was good. I’ve been listening since season 1 and this shows gotten way better

    I actually felt heard
I found this show through social media and saw that they were taking questions on saving money. I impulsively buy clothes and needed some advice on how to save! Was surprised to hear my voice on the show!! gonna try out some of their great tips.

This show gives me the feels 💫💫💫
Adult ISH knows what's up!! This show is intimate, real, and fun. There are tons of podcasts that address personal issues, but this one really touches on what it's like to feel like an almost adult. The story about Nyge's mom is a quick listen and it made me cry my eyes out <3. Also, I'm a huge Davey Kim fan.

    Love this podcast!
Saw that this show was featured in the new section and the art drew me in. The music on this show is great too, not to mention the content itself! It’s a mixed bag of storytelling, interviews with ppl actually making a difference in the world and the hosts are funny and relatable ❤️❤️❤️

All New, All Fresh, still Absolutely Marvelous
UPDATE: This show just can’t seem to disappoint, each episode is a pretty sweet ride! It’s made me think deeper about how I go about my finances, makes me question how close am I with my mom, and it also humanizes celebrities I see on screen. Super excited to see where this show goes even further in the future now!
  • Bjoraker
    Yes!
I heard Nyge’s story on being his mom’s caretaker on Snap Judgment so I had to check this show out. You can tell that the co-hosts like to equally goof off, but also get real with their guests. I also like how the segments are diverse and that the music is produced by young people. I am in my late 20s and this show feels like a fresh breath of air.
  • Tdadz
    Get on it!!
I think this podcast is great! Nyge and merk talk about serious, uncomfortable conversations and put a fun, very informative spin on it for all those who are experiencing this “adult-ish” stage in life. From talking about love and how much it’s changed over the years, to culture differences when being raised, and everything in between, it has easily become one of my favorite podcasts!
  • traxysyph
    Pretty good
I’m about 17 and this show feels out of place for me. I feel like this podcast probably would appear to the more youngish-adults. But everything else besides that is super good. 👍
  • Jrep490
    It’s okay...
Just based on listening to 1 and a half episodes....This is more for like the “gen Z” or kids who are in their early 20s. In contrast, the podcast “adulting” is more for my generation (late 20s/early 30s), and is more entertaining in my opinion. This feels like more of a waste of time since it doesn’t make me lol
  • kristin2019
    Hidden gem of a podcast
There’s so many podcasts nowadays and I’m glad I came across this one. I was looking for a show that gets what I’m going through as a somewhat new adult. This show (and Merk & Nyge) is honest and asks questions I haven’t even considered like, what do I think about male birth control and is the relationship with my mom a healthy one? It’s nice knowing I’m not alone in my adulthood journey.
  • jay_tee_oh
    Amazing!
I am a registered nurse and was curious about how the young co-hosts would cover pap smear/pelvic exams on Below the Belt episode. Let’s just say this was the best pap smear chat I have ever listened to! I feel like this segment is like the sex ed of the future because it is equal parts hilarious, accurate, and relevant. I’d say I’m more of an adult as opposed to “almost adult”, but this show definitely appeals to me as it deals with mature content with a fresh perspective.
  • Lyssvaldez
    Don’t underrate this podcast!!
I’m a huge rick & morty fan and when I saw they interviewed the music producer from the show I thought it was super cool. I felt like the cohosts were just kickin it with this guy who’s the brain behind a lot of my fav shows (old & new). Nyge and Merk are really relatable and I feel like theyre just being themselves and I like that because I dont hear that enough in podcasts. Also can we talk about how theyre both young people of color like me? Thats also a HUGE plus!!
  • OrientalDriver98
    Accurate depiction of almost-adults
I really appreciate the candidness of the hosts in the topics they bring up on the show like loss and speaking up to your parents about what you need as their kid. I am an almost-adult myself and am thankful for a show like this!
  • Snagssssss
    Favorite Podcast no doubt!!
I’m impressed by the variety of guests Nyge and Merk are able to get a hold of. They talked to Sydney Sweeney from Euphoria (I stan), the music guy from Rick and Morty and Ronny Chieng from Crazy Rich Asians. Hope they’re able to get my boy Cristiano Ronaldo on there one day ;)
  • sonny1992777
    Hosts are a dynamic duo
I love Nyge and Merk’s energy, i always seem to get a boost from it. Its so great that there is so much variety in their podcast. I’ve listened to it all on their show from joking about their fave tv characters to the serious stuff like hard relationships with moms. It’s great that they are so genuine with each other, and the listeners, that it makes it so easy to listen to. Their show has definitely made adulting more enjoyable and easier!
