Definitely one of my favorite podcasts
I love this podcast! I love the insights into the comedy business, I love the banter back-and-forth. This podcast is the only reason that I look forward to exercising. Always good. You need to have the guy that sneaks into public venues like the Super Bowl back on. His line is always in my mind, “everybody is bad at their job!” It is 100% true ! Thanks again for the weekly exercise entertainment John from @yajagoff

Gary, when are you coming to headline?
Amazing podcast, love the authenticity, Gary really is this relentless in real life, but still hilarious. Steve, Patrick, and Gary all do a great job interviewing and keeping it interesting and different each episode. Love it.

    Worth every penny
Considering I use borrowed WiFi to download this free podcast, I would consider it a good value. It’s very much the opposite of me hanging out with my imaginary friends as I don’t get to contribute but still feel part of the conversation. Steve’s hilarious, and Gary tries really hard!

    Great Podcast
Listening to Steve, Gary, and Patrick is a great way to spend an hour. They will make you laugh, think, and learn. They have great guests from all walks of earth and different experiences, from learning how to get a free movie at the Hampton inn to learning about the mission that killed Bin Laden. They have a great chemistry and make you feel like you’re just hearing friends rip on each other. Great way to spend an hour! Keep up the great work! Shaun Bell

    Funny degenerates
I saw them in Gotham, they're hysterical and give each other hell. I am catching up and listening to the podcasts while I sit in traffic laughing like a lunatic and am now envied by DC drivers . Traffic is fun again

    One of my favorite Podcasts
Been a Steve Byrne fan for quite a while, and was turned onto this podcast when I Steve and Gary swing by to Portland in 2016. From that point on, I was hooked! Great interview questions by Steve, love the bashing by Gary, and Patrick is a welcome addition. Honestly, I did enjoy the big named guests (Howie Mandel, Vince Vaughn), but I also enjoyed some of the more informative interviews (Howard Warshaw's Atari interview and Cash Levy's sneaking into concerts were some of my favs). It's a great mix-up of content and always feel fresh to me. Don't stop fellas (especially Gary), and I'm looking forward to your next Portland visit (thanks to the last one, my friends call me Sexicutioner)!

    Great show!
Let's face it I am only writing this review to get the free T-shirt but the podcast is really good and you should probably listen to it too Byrne & Cannon are hilarious together. it's like having beers with and old married couple who constantly bicker back-and-forth but with random quality celebrity guests

    Congrats on 100, Dojo Boys!
The Gentlemen’s Dojo is brilliant! Gary and Steve are always fun and funny. But the wide variety of guests is above and beyond what you expect from most podcasts. They’ve interviewed: Bobby Lee, Bert Kreischer, hockey player Dave Bolland, Gene Kelly, Neal Brennan, Brian Regan, Peter Billingsley, Corey Feldman and Howie Mandel, to name a few. The most recent guests include Robert O’Neill (Took out Bin Laden), Pat Sajak, Billy Gardell, Colin Jost and Vince Vaughn, who joined them for peppy 100. Keep it up, guys. To 100 more!

    Always Enjoy the Dojo!
I have probably listened to 95% of the Dojo podcasts. Really enjoy the insulting banter that goes back ‘n forth between Steve and Gary. I met both of you after one of your recent Tampa shows. Keep up the great podcasts!!
  • Wetjigsawpuzzle
    Hilarious stuff
These guys are always funny and they bring a wide variety of guests. Not as wide as Gary's mother though.
  • Irvo
    Super funny
    You guys are doing great!

    Must see show
Such an amazing podcast by an incredible comic and some other guy. The gentleman Mr. Gary Canon is so funny. He's a generous comic that lets an Asian-ish guy named Steve Byrne join him to joke around. Steve says he had some pilot show on TBS, but I can't find it anywhere on the internet. It is nice of Gary to go along with it. I do love the show. Sorry Gary, I know busting Steve is your gig. Thanks, guys.

    Fantastic podcast
So freaking funny. Does Gary Cannon wear Tighty Whitey underwear? He looks like that kind of dude. Keep it up, this is a great podcast and a big stress reliever. One idea - Stay away from politics that was the one episode I deleted without fully finishing. The guy wasn't funny at all he was just in his attack mode and it broke the show that week. Stay funny!!

    Great podcast
Love this podcast. Steve and Gary always riff on each other and are entertaining to listen to. You can also look forward to exciting guests such as Gary's mom (seriously please have her back. By far my favorite episode). These two are also great to see on the road if they are playing at your local comedy club. Steve has been one of my favorite comedians for years; Gary is amazing in that he can get laughs opening for Steve without any jokes or an actual act.

    Enjoying the Dojo!
Good Podcast : -) Comedian Steve Byrne (from TBS’s Sullivan & Son, Several 1 Hr. specials, headlining touring comedy career etc.) and fellow comedian & friend, Gary Cannon have a fun show. Listening to these guys goof on each other is hilarious and they have had good call in and in studio guests discussing interesting topics. Stand-up Comedy fans… help spread the word for your favorite comedians @KRJ_NYC

    Gentleman's dojo?
What happened to Gary's shirt? Did he have to return it to Kohls?? Why does Steve look skinny in a suit and fat and in everything else? This podcast is the best 30 minutes you'll never get back

    Good but could be better
Love Steve Byrne.. This is a good podcast.. Not terrible.. But would enjoy it a lot more if they had better guests... Maybe answer fan questions or at least take phone calls.. Just something a bit extra to make it a little more entertaining

    Enter the Dojo!
This is one of the podcasts I look forward to listening every week. I remember both Byrne and Cannon from the tapings of "Sullivan and Son" I've attended, and it's so great that their rapport has continued after the show's cancellation. I've hung around with a lot of comedians over the years, and the sort of good-natured ribbing about each other's careers the hosts do is not only par for the course, but also rapid-fire and very hilarious. The guests they line up are also very cool as well- ranging from unique personalities like Cash Levy and Steve Mazan to big-league names like Billy Gardell from "Mike and Molly" and Roy Wood Jr. from "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah"- and Steve and Gary's interviews are incisive and engaging. Plus, the episodes that just feature the hosts are filled with stories about doing comedy- perfect for any up and coming comedians out there champing at the bit to hit the road. All-in-all, it's a very funny and pleasant podcast long enough to feel complete while not overstaying its welcome. Mash on that subscribe button and join the Dojo today!

The Gentlemen’s Dojo is Going To Be A Contender
The Gentlemen’s Dojo is an acquired taste. The rapport between the hosts is one of mutually respectful disdain with constant one upmanship and topping. Two wary comics circling each other looking for an opportunity to strike. They clearly love what they do for a living and are just trying out this podcast thing that so many of their peers have embraced with varied levels of success. Like any good comedy show, the podcast has gotten better and more refined with each episode.

We need more then one a week.
Keep up the awesome podcast Steve, wish I could say the same for u Gary. Really great podcast thanks for the laughs.
  • Papa.Panda
    Amateur for Steve Byrne
I freaking love Steve Byrne on stand up! He is amazing! But listening to these two try to one-up, out-do and put each other down isn't my type of comedy. If you're into the uncomfortable feeling akin to sitting at the dinner table while your parents fight you'll love it!
  • M.G.D)7
