Jam Session is The Best. Juliet is a gift to humanity. I could listen to her talk for a five-year prison stint and never be bored.

They both come across as not knowing details about the shows they are reviewing and must never meet pre- recording because they both seem confused.

Updated review to say please have Alexis Wilson on every episode of We’re Obsessed. So much fun and personality, laughed out loud to myself while listening. Make her a co-host!! I’ve never heard her before this episode but I would listen every week if she were on!

Chelsea is insufferable. Why have someone host a podcast who seemingly has no interest in pop culture? She is willfully and proudly ignorant and joyless. I miss Tea Time so much.

Amanda + Juliet have me feeling seen every week. Pros with great takes. Jodi is a star. Someone tell Chelsea she’s on a podcast.

I am a longtime ringer pop culture fan but think I might be done with this one. I am listening to a pop culture podcast to have an escape from the negativity that exists in this world and this does not provide that. I am fine having a different take on something that the host of a podcast I am listening to but feel like Juliet is tearing apart people who like popular things (Taylor Swift, DWTS, etc) I found the way she spoke about Taylor swift on this past episode quite disgusting (again you do not have to be a fan but tearing someone apart with no evidence is pretty hard to listen to) I think I will hang up my hat on this one in search of something more positive.

Love Jam Session in general but Juliette and Wosny are a hit together. They’re dynamic brings levity and humor!

Tea Time or Jam Session this is not. Jodi is decent and at least seems excited/engaged. Chelsea doesn’t seem to know much about pop culture. It’s too long. I just listened to them talk about Dua Lipa’s coke recipe for 15 minutes before giving the actual recipe!!!!!? And then 20 minutes on someone no one knows. Each topic needs to be waaaay shorter, and Chelsea should at least do some light googling before recording.

Somewhat entertaining and I agree that the week with Jodi and Nora was stellar. Strong and informed banter! I was tolerating the incorrect pronunciations for awhile but it is Tim Simons not Tim Simmons.

It’s possible for someone to be a talented, beloved colleague, while also being a below average podcaster. The regular malapropisms, general lack of awareness and chuckling/inhaled “ums” are…tough. There are lots of potential complements to Jodi’s overall podcasting excellence at the Ringer. Hopefully someone has the guts (or self awareness) to make a change.

I especially enjoyed the episodes guest hosted with Nora. They seemed to feed off of each other well and appeared actually obsessed with the topics being discussed. Nora came prepared and informed, which complimented Jodi’s energy really well. Thank being said, I think Chelsea needs to go. After listening to the episode where she’s returned from her honeymoon, her negative commentary is so off putting.

I’ve tried listening to this podcast many times because the topics they choose are interesting. However, the hosts often get basic pop culture facts wrong and their takes aren’t particularly insightful or revelatory. This could be much more entertaining and smart, but it falls short.

I feel like you’d really enjoy this show if you were a middle age millennial who loves pop culture and all the millennial takes about media. Personally some of Juliet’s takes seem off and it’s hard to listen to.

Nora as a co-host is a great support for Jodi. Chelsea’s blind spots are distracting (balance bean?) and her disinterested attitude has me wondering why she’s there. Please consider a swap and We’re Obsessed will give the super strong Ringer Dish show some meaningful competition!

Still mourning the loss of my beloved Tea Time pod and We’re Obsessed does not help my healing journey. Feels negative. Only one host seems engaged. Surely you can do better.

I’ve tried to listen twice but I get an icky feeling. It seems to have a mean undertone, more from one host than the other to be fair. Some insights and I enjoy the chosen topics.

Please stop with the uuuummmmmm’s, I just can’t anymore. You must know you say it too much.

These stars are for Jodi. Thank you for carrying this new-ish format (still missing tea time). Please consider a new co-host. I’m sure that IRL Chelsea is a wonderful person, editor, writer, whatever but podcasting is not for her. She regularly appears uninterested and uninformed. Put us all out of that misery?

I’m giving 3 stars because i absolutely love Jodi and Juliet. They bring such a fun energy but both are dragged down by their cohosts. Just curious what is Chelsea obsessed with because i haven’t heard her actually interested or happy about anything. Each day she’s on the podcast it seems like she’s doing a chore. Cmon you have the easiest job in the world! Talk about what you like! It’s also very obvious that Chelsea steals some of her mannerisms from The Toast podcast without acknowledging or crediting them. Hope we can get this duo together when Amanda is on maternity leave.

Bring back tea time. This show is not good. I tried to listen today again and Chelsea uses words improperly or made up. Today she said alterior or ulterior about the Peterson case and I think she meant alternative. Come on please put in a more intelligent co host.

But this whole podcast is the two of them saying “exacccttllyyyyy”.

As a mom I'm getting all of my of pop culture info from this pod. Loving all Jodi Walkers takes and look forward to this pod each week.

In the latest episode there were some comments made about how dancing such as ballroom should have been implemented first, and another comment about how horse dancing seems “more sophisticated” than break dancing. It’s important that we consider that both ballroom dance and horse dancing are both dominated by white competitors, vs. break dancing which, though now has many skilled dancers across many different cultures, is a historically black and Latino sport. It was difficult to hear horse dancing be considered more sophisticated without any awareness as to WHY it feels more sophisticated to the commenter. I realize this isn’t really a review but did want to point this out. Otherwise enjoy this pod as an easy listen while I’m doing chores and whatnot. But please check your privileges before making comments about what is and isn’t sophisticated and where those assumptions are coming from.

It’s a mediocre listen that’s tolerable if I have nothing else to listen to. I will never get over how dumb it is that Chelsea doesn’t know how to put her Diet Coke in the fridge like a regular person and brings it up on multiple episodes.

I never write reviews, but I feel strongly that We’re Obsessed has potential. Jodi is great - but Chelsea just doesn’t like anything. It makes it really hard to listen to this. I’m sorry but Chelsea is just not the right host for this.

Jodi carries We’re Obsessed on her back. She is totally aware of everything going on that is related to pop-culture (AKA the premise of the podcast) and Chelsea either has no idea what she’s talking about or acts like she’s so disinterested that it’s not fun to listen to. I enjoy listening to stay in the know, but it’s frustrating at times 🫤

I don’t mean to pile on Chelsea, but she is not the right co-host for We’re Obsessed. Jodi is prepared, knowledgeable, curious, and utterly delightful. Often, podcast hosts with different opinions and personalities can play off each other well, but Chelsea comes across so negative, uninformed, confused, and only obsessed with her personal life, which is not interesting to the listeners. Please, please give Jodi a cohost who offers as much as her and also brings some positive energy to the pod—she deserves it, and so do we!

I only started listening to this for the Guilty Pleasure The Morning Show content. I’d hoped for something that covered non-Reality, non-comic book, non-“prestige” content. Dare I call them “girl” shows/movies, or just “everything else that people watch and want to chat/laugh about for 20 minutes.” Anyway, that barely happened. Somehow I’m still subscribed (my bad), and while I usually burn them off as background noise…wow, the We’re Obsessed show…what a waste of time. Do better. Unsubscribe.

The recent JAM Session episode where they spent five minutes talking about whether Tom Cruise texts and knows the band Oasis … I screamed “omg shut up, make this end” while making dinner. If the hosts don’t want to even try to make an interesting podcast anymore, can we let it go??? Send jam to the farm upstate already!!

Faithful listener for years to all the shows. But Chelsea is intolerable as a host ; I tune in for fun, good vibes and intelligent takes - not in this for negativity and self-talk. Had to turn it off (again). Sure she’s a lovely person IRL but perhaps stick to one’s own socials for personal life updates and uninformed opinions.

Tea time was so fun and these two shows are just not. Juliet and Amanda are honestly so self-important (it’s a pop culture podcast) and Chelsea is only obsessed with bone broth, apparently. She hates or is disinterested in everything else. Contrarian/too cool for school is not a vibe for a pop culture show.

Mondays and Fridays are now the best - love both podcasts, don’t change a thing!

Want to like We’re Obsessed bc Jodi is amazing. Everything she is excited about, I am excited about too…. Please find a better co-host for her? It’s annoying to have to hear Jodi explain everything about every topic, just for Chelsea to act disinterested and too cool. Honestly I would rather just listen to Jodi solo. Protect her at all costs. Also love Jam Session. Juliet and Amanda have great chemistry and the pods always the perfect bite size 45min.

There are so many GREAT pop culture podcasts and I love the ringer content so I was excited for this. But this podcast is so bad! A rare misstep for the Ringer! The hosts have one job and that’s to keep up with pop culture and the amount of info they get wrong or have super bad / off takes is mind boggling. Who gave these people a pop culture show. It’s insane like get on the internet. So my advice to anyone reading this — go listen to one of the many other great pop culture podcasts.

I beg you guys please stop saying misinformation about Taylor Swift and Travis. The scooter documentary published info that was already refuted by Taylor’s team!! The Travis stage thing was something they both talked about and wanted and planned. Hod can’t you just let people be happy and have fun?!? She is calculated but she has a soul and truly you have no idea what she has really let us fans know she’s been through so if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything about her at all. Yall come off very rude about a lot of celebrities you talk about and I used to like this podcast but even Juliet doesn’t seem to like anyone anymore. Please bring the grace and optimism back 🙏🏼

I love Jodie and love that she now has her own podcast! She totally has her finger on the pulse of the funny internet memes. Chelsea however….is not the vibe. Her speaking voice annoys me but I realize that’s not her fault and more of a personal issue lol. I would be willing to get over this annoyance if she had ANYTHING interesting to say but unfortunately she does not. When she does have a take on pop culture happenings (which is rare because she’s not particularly invested in pop culture), they always manage to be on the wrong side of history. Please give my gal Jodie someone better to bounce off of! Also RIP Tea Time. Nothing will compare.

Chelsea choosing her own wedding, her brother’s graduation, and her husband’s birthday as things she is obsessed with is absolutely tragic, girl NO ONE BUT YOU cares about those things so why would we want to hear about them on this podcast? Please find Jodie a new cohost.

I like most ringer content but Chelsea is not the right fit for this. Every week I listen thinking she will finally be “obsessed” with something and she absolutely never is. Popular memes, music, shows that the rest of us are obsessed with, she is not and she sounds bored and above it. When asked what she is obsessed with at the end of the show, it’s never something pop culture. It’s her wedding, husbands birthday, etc. get someone else in there ASAP!

Love Jodi and so happy to have a regular place for her, but Chelsea just DGAF-ing about all pop culture is not the vibe. By the title it should be a place for people who LIKE pop culture? Excited for the possibility but some kinks to work out…..

Long time fan of Juliet’s Bachelor Party (right reasons) pod, and just stumbled upon this looking at other ringer content. Had no idea she hosted, but am SO happy to have found it. Everything Juliet touches is podcast gold! Updating to include praise for We’re Obsessed.

I have loved all of the Ringer Dish podcasts, love love Jam Session, but We’re Obsessed is not it. The takes are vapid and frequent really bad and mis(or un)informed. Bad takes are one thing, but completely uninformed? I feel like they’re not even trying. I’ve tried, but I can’t with this one.

I was so sad when Tea Time ended last year, but Chelsea and Jodi are filling the void with We’re Obsessed. I love their dynamic, hot takes, and the overall flow and structure of the show so far.

I was excited for a new edition to ring dish on Fridays to fill the tea time slot. Does Chelsea even like pop culture or any of the topics that they’re going to discuss on this show? It’s difficult to listen to how negative she is. Jodi’s great.
