WHThe best podcast out thereI've been listening to Next Left since it began, and I depend on it weekly for a fresh dose of politcal coherence, optimism, and strength in our dissolute, chaotic, and infuriating times. John Nichols is a skilled interviewer—deft, sharp, and humble—and the politicians who join him are remarkable. The production by Sophia Steinert-Evoy is crisp and natural. This podcast is so much more real (and so much more informative in being so) than most political pods; I could not recommend it highly enough.

jfc38An amazing podcastNext Left has become one of my favorite podcasts. I’m interested in cultural and political (and psychological) development and evolution. This is what I think about and why I read the news. We live in amazing times. Trump may (inadvertently) “save the world” by waking up more people more quickly than at any other time in our history. And the folks that are interviewed on Next Left are examples of the “everyday people” who are spearheading the awakening and evolution. These are not top tier politicians but the “workers” out there on the ground. Great podcasts. Keep ‘me coming!!

kenyatta2009Next left fresh ideasI only discovered the podcast today and was very pleased to learn about the focus of the podcast on progressive leadership with ideas. I listened to 3 episodes but i will be a regular. This will probably help me to change my subscription from digital only to be digital and print

Holistic Brain BalanceThe fresh faces and voices you’ll hear more fromNot every interview is with a Democratic Socialist, Many are. What stands out to me is how these folks raise "economic instability” as a major cross-class issue. Except for Bernie, another DS, you don’t hear many candidates reflecting how “close to the edge” 60% of all Americans have been at one or more times.

rebanielsenInteresting new podcast! This podcast provides a highly interesting look into what they describe as the “new left”. The interviews are to the point and provide you with a more intimate look of the subject. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in the young progressives in the Democratic Party.
