Covers literally everything and one of the very few solo podcast I can listen to consistently and not feel like it gets old. Not sure if you are still taking questions through this forum but I’ll ask anyway. Trae is making a legit effort on defense to start this season. Are you worried about how someone of his size will hold up fighting over screens and playing 40 minutes a night? Also how bad of a team are we without him? Bottom 5? 10? Would love to hear your thoughts. Really do enjoy the podcast though.

Brad is the best! I love his format and insights. Also Tyler Jones is the best guest analyst ever. No one else can break down the impact our rookie wing will have and discuss my new favorite JRPG within 10 minutes.

Best Hawks podcast out there in my opinion. Brad’s coverage is so good my only regret is the team isn’t better.

Love Brad and his unbiased nuanced approach to dissecting all things Hawks. Not a fan of Tyler idk how he’s been crowned fan favorite other I just find him to be loud, obnoxious and always upset about something. My main complaint though is the time restriction that locked on puts on Brad. It seemingly makes him feel rushed and the podcast more hurried then it needs to be.

Must listen for all Hawks fans! Brad is so knowledgeable and simply the best out there.

Big fan and longtime listener of the pod. Love the content Brad brings every night - very informative and provides really good insight into the team and how they’re playing. Really not a fan of the new postcast episodes being uploaded though. Unsure why episodes with worse analysis and commentary for the exact same games is being uploaded when Brad has been doing a good job for so long.

Brad does a very good job covering the hawks in depth and has very good guests on the podcast. I also listen to battery power (if you’re a braves fan it’s the best podcast available) and I really could listen to him talk about anything sports related and be elated to hear what he has to say. I do have a question for a mailbag episode: do you ever see the hawks potentially leaving Atlanta for another market? I ask this because I feel that people in Atlanta are not very invested in this current team and haven’t been probably since 2021 and before that 2014-2015. With Tony ressler I could potentially see it happening but I just want to see your thoughts on this topic. You know more than the average fan about stuff going on internally so you would be a good person to ask. Once again great podcast and Brad always deserves a listen wherever he posts!

Have been a listener for years now, great way to recap games that I may have missed or hear Brad’s thoughts. Wish that the new show on this feed was it it’s own feed. I keep accidentally playing it, and it’s just not for me.

Although the host uses the word “famously” to describe almost anything that has ever happened with the Hawks, I love listening after every game and really enjoy the analysis and coverage during the offseason as well. Highly recommend for Hawks fans.

This is easily the best basketball podcast. I learned so much from watching this podcast and the guests Brad Rowland bring on the show. My question for the show is that why in your opinion does this team seem to consistently struggle in the 1st quarter in the Trae young era? Once again, thank you for hosting this podcast.

Brad is great at having a coherent and non-emotional perspective on Hawks news and coverage. He is consistently putting out steady shows that have good statistical and on-the-court coverage, and he brings on guests every now and then to talk about more big-picture topics. The NBA podcast-sphere is full of lazy analysts who like to diagnose Hawks issues by reading box scores, reading blog reporting, while watching maybe one game a year; Locked On Hawks stands above all these other shows because Brad watches every game, interprets data, and, most importantly, is not a take-artist. There are tons of episodes every week and it is essential for every Hawks Fan. LOH is a great follow for the NBA coverage too with occasional national talk and it is by far the best show on the Locked On Network. Brad Rowland is an Atlanta sports podcast legend for good reason. For some reason there still is not a reporter for The Athletic on the Hawks beat and LOH fills that need (probably does a better job than they would do anyway lol).

This is a great show, run by someone who clearly understands what he’s talking about. He’s a voice or reason when the fanbase gets pissy, and he’s a warning voice when something big is on the horizon. Shoutout to Braddo for bein high on John Collins! Great content and perspective, Rowland is not a homer and has a pretty realistic take on most of the Hawks topics. Downside - I have a hard time keeping up, dude talks really fast!! I guess it’s the Southern boy in me, but there’s not much pace or cadence here, more like a race.

The best place to get your Hawks coverage. Brad does an excellent job covering all 82 games (as well as pre-season and playoff games) and I also really enjoy the in-depth, knowledgeable interviews with a myriad of guests. He’s real about the team without getting too high or low on recent results. All around a great listen and I highly recommend it for any Hawks fan.

The only pod I make a priority to listen to. Brad has done great work for a while.

Brad is the absolute man. Literally my only complaint about Brad is that he apologizes when he doesn’t produce “enough content”, even though the show is free and he still pumps out a lot of episodes during those “low content” times. He’s incredibly objective and thorough and he rotates a ton of great guests. 5 stars too easy on this one

I listen to a ton of NBA content and Brad is top-tier on his analysis and diligent in uploading shows daily. Very few podcasts match his volume of content, even national ones that have multiple shows per feed. Brad is VERY objective and shoots it straight down the middle. Weirdly too he’s one of the very few Atlanta beat reporters to get on national shows so he’s a good advocate for the team. Highly recommend for those who want to follow the Hawks

Brad does an amazing job breaking down and analyzing individual games/players. He also has a steady stream of guests who provide quality insights on the Hawks and the NBA in general. His draft coverage in the offseason is another bonus. This is the first podcast I listen to whenever a new one is available, and is a must for any Hawks fan!

Huge fan of Brad’s work. Listener of his work on Talking Chop for a few years now. Just recently discovered he covers the Hawks. Love the coverage he provides and the in depth analysis of the games. Great podcast for hawks fans trying to keep up with the team.

Host is great as usual. Tyler Jones however has suddenly become the most annoying chronic interrupter. The first half was just Tyler dramatically ranting, the host got cut off mid-sentence so frequently it’s honestly hard to listen to. Thank God Tyler finally calmed down during the last five minutes of the show. I listen to this podcast everyday because Brad Rowland is articulate and insightful, but this episode is cringeworthy. I’d give one star but that’s not fair to the host.

I enjoy your podcast lately more than I used to but please slow down! I had to check the speed on my podcast player to make sure. Between the fast speech and the nasally thing you’ve got going on, you’re starting to sound like a rabid gobbling turkey.
