werfgtyygThe excessive use of the work likeMakes this podcast almost unlistenable!! Please make an effort to talk like an adult Edit- downgraded to one star. The Dune episode 2 was so filled with um, like that I turned it off and unsubscribed. Shame.
-
pinacolodaYay! Book of Carol! So glad my favorite hosts are going to cover the show!! Keep up the great work, fun recaps, and great banter! Hugs!
-
UbiquitousJackThe TastemakersI absolutely love the “we know scripted tv” feed of RHAP. I look forward to hearing Taran and Grace’s take on new content every week. (I’ll watch anything Grace is talking about or recommending) Also a huge fan of Josh and Emily! Keep it up pod friends.
-
Micah8024Love the Tastemakers!Been enjoying the Tastemakers with Grace & Taran! But Taran still needs to catch up on 'Interview with the Vampire!'

vfratianiHappy to support WandaHi Josh!! The new podcast is great. So glad to have scripted tv coverage back. Thanks for reminding me to be a patron on Patreon. My post show recap subscription expired when the channel did.

LouSmith434Josh is so annoyingHe has limited insight and his voice is annoying and he thinks his funny and he really really isn’t.

DogMom202Loving hearing my favorite podcasters every weekLoving this new concept, I can check in when it's a topic I'm interested in and maybe skip a week if I don't know the show, but it's really great because every week the shows are different! I also am loving the HOTD content, just binged season 1 so I am catching up (missed it the first time around). Rob, Josh, Taran, Grace, Mike, Chappell, Antonio, Sasha, I'm sorry if I missed someone - y'all are killing it! Thank you!
-
Hp2013Loving itLove all the coverage on this season of HotD! Since the House of the Mermaid Dragon is a kind of crossover format I was wondering if we could get an impression of Boston Rob trying to tame a dragon. Thanks Rob and Josh!
-
SdoahPenner as a Bracken please“Bend the knee, my A*S!” I love the House of the Mermaid Dragon podcast so much. I mean it is absolutely bonkers, but in the best way. Rob and Josh are so funny and intelligent. Great fun for those of us who love Survivor and Game of Thrones!
-
DlteacherLove it!Loving all the new content.

Jard626Prince Siska Demands Nicole on the PodPrince Siska’s demands must be met and Nicole must get a chance to talk HotD

JacfannyLoving it!A wonderful collection of voices and opinions that are always entertaining! Highly recommend!

FSteedDMGreat slateBeen listening to Rob for a decade now and would jump into PSR if they had coverage on a show I really enjoyed but def felt it was getting bloated by the end. We Know Scripted TV excels at providing focus and theme for an era oversaturated with content. Especially love hearing Rob & Josh talk Westeros again and that the Wigman enjoys dipping his toes back into Survivor. He and Antonio are also a great treat every weekend. Keep doing great stuff dudes!
-
sntkyuhhh“Maester” Mari is often… blatantly wrong and incorrect in the things she says about the show which is interesting. Maybe rewatch the episodes or do better research. Chappel will often be correct and she’ll immediately shut him down for some reason.

CalbertaThe Tastemakers - Great ShowGrace and Taran are a genius podcast duo. Smart, informative, funny.

Survivor31Phenomenal PodcastI have enjoyed this podcast so much! In particular I love the tastemakers! Taran and Grace do an incredible job of hosting and I love getting recommendations from them and also just hearing about the current TV landscape and the directions they think it is heading in.
-
Caper127Love the new podcastEspecially glad to have Josh and Antonio back. Funny, thoughtful, insightful. I became a dedicated listener during BCS. Our tastes otherwise don’t overlap a ton but I enjoy learning about shows that wouldn’t necessarily be on my radar Thanks guys!
-
samantham1Taran and Grace!!I can and will listen to taran and Grace talk about anything. They are so thoughtful and insightful and I appreciate their perspectives so much. Side note: Have y’all watched my lady Jane yet?!?!

-
nixxienixxieWeekend with Josh & Antonio? Yes please!Josh and Antonio talking about…well really anything …. is what my life has been missing for awhile. So happy they are back in my ears! And I already learned something from their first episode back. Chock full of interesting takes and info on TV shows and their experiences. Can’t wait for my weekly dose. Although I do feel a little personally attacked as a Rangers fan 😕🙃 I’ll get over it.
-

ZmanNYCFarewell PSRPost Show Recaps feels like home. And I will miss it. Day after day, week after week, from Leftovers to Mr. Robot to White Lotus to Succession, and so many others, PSR consistently provided entertaining, humorous, poignant, and deeply insightful discussion of some of the greatest television shows in TV history. The whole PSR team, and Josh and Antonio in particular, made me feel like I was there in the room, chatting with friends who loved and appreciated prestige TV as much as I did. I am sad to see you go, but looking forward to seeing where all of you pop up in my podcast feeds. Take care. And thank you. :) Jeff from NYC

Destroyer76Annoying hosts won’t be missedThey’re finally calling it quits. I couldn’t take much more of it anyway with their hosts constantly starting every sentence with “I mean….” or “For meeeeee…” or “To meeee”. Yech!!

SLCUtahUserYou SHOULD write a movie together, but not a horror filmGreat episode! I’ve been listening to the “Night Country” podcasts on The Ringer, and I have to say, LaTonya and Mike’s commentary is just as insightful and interesting. It also blew my mind (LaTonya said she got chills) when Mike posited that puppy-dog ‘freshman’ policeman Peter Prior might just be doing his best “Edward Norton in Primal Fear” impersonation :-O But speaking — as you were — of updating TV & movies from 1994 to 2023, rather than writing a horror movie together…why not pitch to the Obamas an update of “Freedom Writers” and “Dangerous Minds”? You could replace (well-meaning, with their hearts in the right place) White Savior Complex representatives — Hilary Swank and Michelle Pfeiffer — with Cynthia Erivo. She would play a fictionalized version of LaTonya herself, who’s brought in during the transition to Near North Career Metro HS — from the legendary Cooley Vocational HS — as the school that serves the students who live in Cabrini-Green, i.e., the legendary last-worst vestige of inner-city public housing done badly. And like Edward James Olmos’ character in “Stand and Deliver,” LaTonya’s character teaches her students something everyone else thinks they’re ‘incapable’ of learning, i.e., debate. I know, it’s kind of cliched and trope-laden. So let’s add to that, shall we? As the HS students go on their journey, of discovering intellectual power, self-respect, and teamwork — Cynthia Erivo’s character does, too. She’s someone who ‘made it out’, and all the way over to Northwestern…and leafy, beautiful Evanston, i.e., a place and way of life, that’s literally a world away. She has 100% accomplished her childhood goals & dreams, in other words. But has something been ‘lost’ in the process…that she didn’t even realize? (Because NOT having to teach her own children, that the bathtub is the safest place to be when the shooting starts, was all she ever wanted in this world?) I know “The Great Debaters” covered some of this ground — but college kids are different from HS kids. And I would resist, when people tell you that in order to add ‘stakes’, they want you to have to have Cynthia Erivo’s Near North Debate Team challenge Phillips Academy & Choate — the way Denzel Washington’s debate team challenged Harvard. Here, too, you could “update” the form…by intimating that you DON’T have to win the National Championship of whatever activity it is you’re engaged in, in order for the events depicted to have meaning, or for it to be a story worth telling.

nickname37856Thank youI have many times picked a new show to watch simply because I know PSR has covered it. Grace, LT, Dr. Amanda, Josh, Chappell, Mike are especially great.
-
Al.Shein.92Miss old psrCovering so much quality just isn’t what it was

Devine Ms DThis is a far left platformAs a long time fan of Josh Wigler on RHAP, I was glad to finally find two shows to follow on his platform, The Gilded Age and Fargo. I also love Mike Bloom, but was more than a little offended by LT's comments including North Dakota and Minnesota just being flyover states that nobody pays attention to. She even referred to the "Midwestern Trope" of how men treat women poorly. I guarantee you Midwestern men are better to women on average than the coasts, where the "ME TOO" offenders prayed. She has made sure other politically fueled comments, and I find her dangerous, so cannot support this platform. The people in CA and NY are far more threatening than ND and MN, and facts back that up. She should visit Fargo.

alovesyouGoodLoved listening to Grace and Ariel on the morning show after show, and will sometimes catch some movie reviews. BUT I cannot stand Jess Sterling screaming on these episodes! 😭🙉

EntertainingFav recapersLove Jason Reed. I’ll watch shows just cuz he recaps lol
-
ProduceprezSo Entertaining!I have not watched this show since it originally aired and I love rewatching along with this podcast. Both the show and this podcast are so entertaining. Love both!
-
Jane2520The Gilded AgeI don’t like coming off as greedy but I’m going to need more Marissa and Jason, please. The Gilded Age is only the 2nd show I’ve heard them cover (the 1st being Hijack) and I LOVE IT. Please, for the love of god, more.

James222222222222222222222222Wonderful PodcastWonderful podcast with wonderful people. Josh, DM Filly, Jess Sterling, Grace, Ariel, Sasha, Jason, etc etc etc have such great insight and are the reason I keep coming back. Why on earth anyone would feel compelled to write a review calling out someone negatively is beyond my comprehension, but I want to make sure all of PSR knows they’re appreciated.
-
kates2424You need better talentI’m not sure where you’re finding a lot of these people to podcast. I know the “regulars” can’t cover every show. But some of these people at either super boring or annoying. I flat out will not listen to anything with Jess Sterling. I get it, you’re growing, but I don’t want to hear a bunch of people I don’t know banter.
-
Blue cat 54Like like likeTrying to listen to DM Filly and Josh Wigler get through a podcast is similar to watching any episode of The Kardashians. Every sentence has mind numbing amounts of the word “like” which is puzzling to me because they both have huge vocabularies and don’t need to use the word. Sometimes I can’t take it and just exit the podcast.
-
LadyT4505The Other Black GirlI am so glad you all are covering this show! Aysha and Mari were the perfect pair and it felt like I was sitting in on a conversation with friends. I related so much to the stories they told, especially about HBCUs. I really appreciated their analysis of the episodes and the way they brought in context for those who may not be as familiar with some of the references. Can’t wait for the next pod!
