    Love this show!
Danny is awesome and has wonderful guests who you learn a lot from. My favorite podcast! Adding to my original review. Please bring back the Danny in the Valley opening music!
  • PodcastRob316
    Great podcast
I have regularly listened to this podcast for several years (previously as Danny in the Valley) and always found it to be insightful and interesting, with a different range of interviewees than the usual suspects. I like the new format with two hosts bouncing off each other - my only, selfish, request is to bring back the Danny in the Valley opening music as it brings back nice memories !
  • brent_in_MN
    Favorite podcast hands down
Danny in the Valley is the one podcast where I can’t wait for a new episode to drop each week.
  • LisaIsHereForIt

    Rattling through the back catalogue
I recently discovered this, and how easy it is to listen to episodes back to back, one after another! Awesome interviews, very enjoyable to listen to. Danny, could you revisit hyper loop? The interview with Dirk is great, would love an up-to-date review of where it’s all got to.
  • Bart Adamley
    Danny kills it!!!
Great honest journalism. Danny has a plethora of guests within the tech sphere and always is on to the latest emerging startups I have yet to hear about... I have been a faithful listener of his podcast since the Summer of 2018 and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! You will not regret listening to this podcast.
  • incredulousdoctor
    Love the show
Show is fabulous, both fun and insightful. Thanks for making this very cool thing! If I had to change one thing, I’d have some more ladies on there talking about their companies (so many other shows just have us on to talk about diversity instead of our whole work).

Opened up a whole new world
I started listening in January 2019 because technology and innovation akin to Silicon Valley was something I didn’t know very much about and I wanted to change that. This podcast has opened my eyes to so many fascinating, solid innovators / innovations. They are the real deal. I haven’t missed an episode since and recommend it to many. Thanks Danny!

    Down to earth
Insightful, no fluff, none of the arrogance you usually encounter with Silicon (valley, beach, slopes...) features
  • SchunannsResonance
Glimpse of the future, with a reminder of the past.
Danny In The Valley has become my new brain food. The concepts covered in this program provide a cutting edge real time reminder of events and changing landscape of the worlds most innovative ideas. While my own time machine only runs a few days into the future I think Danny may have one running a few weeks or even months ahead of the mainstream. In these times it is refreshing. Thanks for the good work!

    Best Tech Podcast!
Danny is a technology reporter and interviewer that is also engaging and incredible at his craft. He seeks out unique and innovative startups and shares their bold visions and ideas, as well as the established tech giants and the impact of tech on society and our world. Highly recommended and engaging podcast.

    Especially Enjoyed April 28th
Wow! Reminder of the enormity and gravity of our federal government - the good and the bad. Extremely fresh and informative.
  • smiley_20
    Disappointed
I loved all of your podcast until you release your April 28th podcast. I love the technology POV this podcast was. I wanted something that was not political bias. I loved your Silicon Valley series and hate to leave your podcast

    Theranos - Dr Gardner interview
I wish it was 2x-5x longer. Full of stuff I didn’t know and I’ve watched the films, read the book and evrn the script for the upcoming motion picture. There is so much more to know that hasn’t come out - basic stuff like in the entirely separate story of Jeffrey Epstein, why can’t the figure out where he got his money. With Theranos, talk to more staff about how there was no way the machine would work and just more about the high lifestyle she had and what was with the bodyguards and Steve Jobs like look, the voice. I’m wealthy and don’t have that level of security and it’s my staff that I’m grateful to. I’m surely not locked in my guarded office thinking about how to execute various ideas I come up with and I have a handful of postgrad ideas. My ppl figure that out and all are Gen. our sly compensated.

An evenhanded survey of the tech landscape
A well-balanced variety of different areas of innovation and areas of involvement, artfully delivered by a talented and candid interviewer. The most interesting tech podcast out there, IMO.
  • KenDLaw
Love the "Million Mile Battery" episode
I just discovered this podcast. As it turns out, my daughter works for Sila Nanotechnologies, featured in the Million Mile Battery episode. This is a great example of explaining advanced technology to everyone. I especially like the broader discussion around implications to society.

    Sitting with them...
Danny is so effective with logically sequential and pointed questions, it mentally engages you into the conversation - as if I was sitting with them during the interview. Of course the subject matter is fascinating, but Danny's style makes it compelling. Eagerly waiting for next episode!
  • muzicmike
    Solid introduction to new ideas
Great weekly update from the valley. More of an introduction to what some companies are doing than a deep dive, but definitely worth checking out.

    Love the Show but Audio
I love this show! I tell people all the time, if you want to know about what is happening in Silicon Valley, listen to Danny in the Valley. However, I cannot listen to this podcast in my car without turning it all the way up. It seems Danny starts talking and then trails off. Each times he trails off I have to turn up the volume. This continues until the volume on the car radio is maxed out. Other than the audio issue, this is a great podcast.
  • SLP^!
    Stimulating conversations
Great stuff Danny! Very much enjoying the content put forward in your show. I’ve been impressed by the consistency with which you find the most interesting guests and then draw the best from them. Keep up the awesome work mate!

    Addictive
Ironic considering some edpisodes cover the addictiveness of smartphones, but after hearing a single episode I binge listened to the whole backlog in about two weeks. It's going to be hard to catch up and have to wait for new episodes. Incredible insights into the mind set of people either involved in the tech industry or those seeking to regulate it.
  • GabrielaHasbun
Tech guys at their most relaxed.
Wow, Danny! What an incredible podcast. These guys are so comfortable with you. You can tell how at ease they are based on how much info they are giving you. So hooked! 💥

    I’m hooked
I caught up with this podcast at the end of its first season and am now going back through so I don’t miss previous episodes. Smart commentary on emerging tech from people making it happen.
  • THE DOLLYTURNER
    Intriguing.
This is the British version of NPR’ s interviews and profile. Love this journalist. He brings such passion and integrity to this show.
  • Junejeong
One of the best podcasts at the moment.
Great interviews on current tech without buying into the latest hype cycle.
  • Everyday Hustle
    Good Times
Mr. Fortson crashes into the Silicon Valley subculture like a Bronco and peels back the Rouge curtain for us outsiders to see whats going on inside. Each episode tends to Keep It Awesome by getting at the psyche that drives the techie machine. I would listen to this Forty times over.
  • Workout momma!

MY FIRST 5 STAR REVIEW! ABSOLUTELY INSPIRING!
MY FIRST 5 STAR REVIEW! Danny provides an excellent thought out, interesting view point and in-depth questions/commentary to not only Start Up Company Founders within the Valley but allows the listener to widen our lens on the personality and motivation of everyday people who have accomplished beyond what anybody could have predicted. This Podcast is a wonderful culmination of Tech, money, ideas, failures and successes. Well spoken, funny, and down to Earth, Danny has a gift in breaking down complicated topics with ease allowing us to understand that greatness comes through recognizing opportunity and taking risk...the true, original American Dream! I'm hungry for More! Keep em' coming Danny! SMB - Virginia Beach, VA

I love this podcast! The interviews are not only informative and insanely interesting, but they are also witty and keep you chuckling. It's so great to hear stories about the inception of certain technological tools that a lot of us take for granted, as well as things that will be changing our lives in the future.

    Dissecting the epicenter of tech
Silicon Valley is an incredibly substantive and equally strange place. Danny does a good job unpacking the people, products and the stories behind them. A good listen...
  • TOMAS!!
    The Best
Love this podcast. I'm a fan of technology but I feel very few podcasts peel back the layers to understand how the folks in Silicon Valley think. This one does that. The interview with Jon Callaghan, for example, does that.
  • Silicon Valley educator
    Must-listen!
I look forward to this every week. Such interesting guests, and really enjoy the host's interviewing style.
