    Why the laugh when interviewing?
Just puzzled why talking about issues when the person being interviewed doesn’t laugh at all and the host keeps laughing for no reason?

    Who LIKES Michigan
Very nice work on this very nuanced podcast about Connor Stallions. I came away respecting him. The Villian is the NCAA, hopefully that organization will be a distasteful memory! Go GREEN

    rebecca your hair is ugly
vapid witch revecca lavoie called boston one of the most racist cities in the whole world. She also called James Renner a conspiracy theorist. This witch has no integrity. james renner is an award winning journalist you grifting glorified ad reader. rebecca you make a living profiting of tragedy. rebecca youre a failure whos only skill is reading advertisements. rebecca i hope you pay for your immorality.
  • app doesnt function well
    Paul Murdaugh new too much
Maybe he started to spiral out of control, because he might have seen something about the previous murders like the housekeeper Gloria Satterfield (she was like his mother) and Stephen Smith.

    Great podcast
When I heard that Rebecca was going to interview the director from the doc Greatest Night in Pop Music, I immediately rethought my decision not to watch it. I give the doc and the interview a big thumbs up.

    Netflix needs this podcast
If it weren’t for this podcast I wouldn’t watch these documentaries on Netflix. It is because of these interviews I watched the documentaries. Thank you to Rebecca!

    Bias
I have thought this a few times while listening to other episodes but today I am writing a review about it. I’m listening to the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard episode in the host is very clearly showing her bias towards Amber Heard. The documentarian, however, is doing a fabulous job of staying neutral. I like this podcast because typically they do not give away too much information, but the host pretty regularly makes her opinion known.

    Rebecca is a great interviewer
I am a huge fan of Rebecca’s other shows, but her interview skills really shine here as a solo host. Love the show!

    Journalism
Very impressed with this project. I really like how the journalist doesn’t include her opinions on the matter. She clearly states the entire story of events without all of the frustrations that the listener clearly will feel after learning what happened. These things can’t continue to go on. Thank You for bringing this to light! The Netflix docu is something everyone should see and be aware of.

    Excellent
Fascinating and professional. Great programs. BIG PROBLEM I’ve had to stop listening because of the music. It’s so wrong. You’ll be telling a sad story, a death, snd there’s an upbeat silly song on the background. It doesn’t go with the topic. Please don’t do that. It’s cringe. Everything else is great but I have tuned out.

Behind the scenes of Netflix docs!
I always want to know more about a good Netflix doc when I'm done watching so I'm SO GLAD this podcast exists. Rebecca is a fantastic host & interviewer, it's always well edited & produced.

    Heartbreaking
This was a very good podcast, great host, but very sad story. Hard to believe a mother wouldn’t try harder to find her daughter or help authorities better piece together her disappearance. Gut wrenching.

When I got to the first episode of Girl in the Picture….. ugh…. The breathy narrator & the friends , their complacency, esp woman seemingly enjoying the attention. Still be used

    A murder in Oregon
If you get time do a Tiffany Jenks murder review but tell The truth do not allow cults to ruin lives like mine and my child’s. She was my ex girlfriend and i was set up on. Her death Cults do not care… yet most do not get how much power we give them. Thank you

Good storytelling. Well produced. well narrated.

Everything that is wrong with this country
This whole entire story shines a light on Americas flaws. The criminal justice system, social services, the treatment of women who are abused, and white male privilege. Truly tragic in every way.

    Excellent podcast
I decided to listen because this was one of the top podcasts. I was surprised to see the low rating as I really enjoyed this podcast. It seems the low ratings are from easily offended people who consider any differing opinion just a side effect of “woke-ness.” *sigh* I found this to be an excellent podcast.

    Absolutely recommend
I watched it on Netflix but hearing it was the best experience for me , I highly recommend it 100%

Some key details from this podcast are different then those in the Netflix documentary.

    5 stars
I don’t know what’s up with some of the low ratings. I don’t find anything wrong with the host. Horrific story on all fronts that needs to be heard.

Great after movie catch up session. You learn a bit more about the documentary. Also host has a calm, radio voice to keep you listening. Highly recommend.

Love How The Pod Has Aged
I’ve been listening to this pod since the beginning and I love how the format has changed. The current rendition is much more favorable than when the podcast was first released and l love it. I love this pod so much that I literally no longer even watch Netflix docs. I listen to the pod and I find that satisfying enough with no urge to even watch the shows. Keep it up!

    Bad Vegan
Narrator is trying to channel Werner Herzog but is just plain bad. Great story but couldn’t stand to hear the whole episode or any other one if this drone narrates.
  • scottandmin2
    Love the show
Love it but The Vegan episode has a bad robot for a reviewer. Just stick with Rebecca.
  • TigerLawyer
    Tiger King 2
Softball questions with no follow-up for Tiger King makers to fluff their feathers rather than give substantive insights that people are really interested in. Real documentary filmmakers want to educate and make an impact - Goode and Chaiklin are reality show peddlers who obviously don't care about helping to end the exotic pet trade or they would join us in lobbying for the Big Cat Public Safety Act and would never drive a false narrative that helps prop up Joe Exotic as a folk hero. It says a lot that Goode and Chaiklin apparently won't do any media interviews except for this Netflix podcast. What substantive questions are they afraid of having to answer?

    Love it!
I love Netflix’s doc series and of course I adore anything Rebecca Lavoie does, so this is a win win. The conversations are engaging, pulling the curtain so we can see what really happened in some of these docs. Rebecca’s energy is so approachable and engaging, so all of the interviews feel like an enjoyable conversation between creatives.
  • drhackenbush1
    This is good!!!
Honestly, I’m new here, therefore most of the Netflix shows discussed I’ve already seen. However, now that I know this podcast exist I’ll be dropping by regularly😀

Can’t wait to talk about Motive
Please review Motive soon! What a frustrating documentary.

    Disconcerting speaking style
I love the premise and content, but the host has a speaking style that is disconcertingly chirpy and cheerful, often at odds with the content being discussed. She speaks as if presenting an infomercial. I wish she would talk more normally I would give this podcast five stars.

    Britney v Spears
Fantastic documentary and this is a fascinating interview. Rebecca always asks all the questions I want to ask, and many many more. I feel like listening to her interviews has made me more inquisitive overall. I am in agreement with the documentarian, this is the type of film that exposes the underbelly of a case with a victim in plain sight to the world. EVERYONE should be questioning how forced conservatorships are happening to all kinds of people. I appreciate her passion, her film and this interview has struck a real chord with me. Rebecca, keep up the fantastic work.

    Enjoy
    Thanks for the “woke garbage”!😀
  • emfkdbxjfhs
    Woke garbage
Somehow the Bundy episode becomes a discussion of “whiteness”, Republicans and intersectionality. These people are so tiresome.
  • amsmith131
    The Ripper
I enjoyed The Ripper but it’s clear Ellena Wood should have directed all 4 episodes. It also would have been nice to hear Rebecca ask Jesse Vile more questions about why the sexism and misogyny from the police wasn't more prevalent in the episodes he directed.

    Unsolved Mysteries
Really enjoyed the breakdowns of Unsolved Mysteries. Rebecca does a great job deep diving into theories from each episode of season 1 and 2. You should binge both seasons and then give this a listen!

    Great podcast!
I love this podcast! Rebecca is great - entertaining, smart, funny & easy to listen to, as is her husband. I watch a lot of Netflix shows & love hearing their take on them!
