  • Hey Nowadays
    Stop Interrupting!
Albert please for the love of god let Connor finish a sentence. Constantly interrupts him
  • JG902
    Too cute, not funny
Please have more adult NFL conversations and less pathetic attempts at being “funny” Albert and Connor OK. But please rethink this podcast
  • jez95
    Get down to it
Please get down to talking about football and the games. Stop with the jokes and other stuff. I have other podcasts for that stuff.

    opinion
drop the get to know us intro banter. no one is tuning in for that. get to the football. the best part of your persona emerges when you’re doing what you do best.

    Love Albert please no Connor
Enjoy listening to Albert Breer but will fast forward through Connor.

    Decent show
Love Connor, but Albert can be less appealing. Also, it's a little ironic (in a bad way) that a once renowned written publication spells Jets "Jet's" in its show description.

Not a fan of the new guys
Albert makes listening to Conner a little more tolerable but I’m not a fan of Matt and Gilberto’s addition… especially Matt. His voice is irritating and they both just kind of rehash what was covered earlier in the week.

    Matt and Gilberto
Really enjoy them. Great addition. Smart, insightful and funny.

    Albert, stop saying “like”
Albert says “like” more than a teenage girl. Also he interrupts constantly. Difficult to listen to.

    Frat boy sullies the show
Connor is great, and the show was awesome with Gary. Now that Albert Breer is on, it’s all about him. He constantly interrupts Connor, quite annoying. Get rid of the frat boy and let Connor have his own show. Ok thanks.

    Fun with friends
Listening to your podcast is like hanging out with my most interesting friends! The conversation is so good, alcohol is needed!

Albert doesn’t know how conversations work
Conor is great. Still miss Gary. Albert doesn’t know how conversations work. He interrupts constantly, and always speaks as if what he is saying is more important. Conor steps aside again and again. I liked Gary and Conor because they had easy banter, and both knew how to share. Today, once again, I found myself saying ‘shut up Breer. It’s not your turn.’ When I meet people like this in life, I just walk away when they’re mid-sentence…cause they’re always mid-sentence. Today, again, I just stopped listening.

So Glad I Stumbled Across This
It’s been awesome randomly finding this podcast and realizing Matt Verdarame was one of the hosts. Love getting another chance to listen to his Chiefs analysis after having left Fansided.

    Not a Conor Orr fan
This show was at its best with Gary Gramling and Andy Benoit. Conor Orr can easily irritate with his feeling that he is so clever and smarter than anyone else.
  • IUPHank
    Man, do I miss Gary
Connor and Gary had a good chemistry. Connor can go down the youth rabbit hole and Gary seemed to work as winch to pull the show back on track. Even with quality contributors, i.e. Albert, the show just isn’t as good.

    Solid content
I used to be an SI subscriber and this year subbed to the digital version. I really like the MMQB pod the hosts seem very objective and it’s length is great. Looking forward to draft night.

    Mediocre
There is so little value added to the conversation. They don’t enough about scheme and personnel to give you any insight you can’t find from dozens amateur podcasters. SI should be ashamed trotting these guys out there a couple times a week.
  • debh
    My favorite football podcast
Really appreciate the focused discussion of key takeaways from the week, a must-listen throughout the season. So glad to have a podcast dedicated to FOOTBALL, and not fantasy or betting.

    Intelligent NFL Talk
So glad I found this podcast! These guys don’t insult your intelligence or stick to today’s NFL talking points. Great insight!
  • AnorLondoFootball
    Very good not epoch-making.
This is a great podcast. You learn stuff and it’s entertaining. I want to be respectful to everyone but please believe me when I say that these 2 guys are the whitest guys on earth🤣.

    Political Garbage Without Benoit
Without Andy Benoit there's not enough football people at MMQB so the podccast reverts to talk of Colin Kaepernick too often. It's lazy and overplayed. It's what "football" people talk about when they don't understand football and they don't have real information to give. They had a great thing going until this fall, but without Benoit there's no football knowledge here. One podcast thinks Saquon is getting an extension after his 2nd year in the league which isn't even an option according to NFL rookie contract rules. It's a shame. This went from a must-listen podcast to a never listen podcast. The “weak side podcast” is about as weak as it gets. Connor doesn’t know football at. His takes are pathetic and he provides 0 analysis. He doesn’t know basic things about the game (thinking first round picks can get extensions after just 2 years in the league) and he reverts to complaining about anything and everything to occupy the time. If Benoit isn’t returning then the MMQB would be better off with Breer having his show, Jennie having her own show, and the gambling crew doing their show. Having Orr in the same podcast feed as Breer and sometimes Benoit is a total joke.

    Good at best
The football content is reasonable, but there is too much politics in it for me (I mean, that’s not why I like sports) and there is an excess of advertisement. But yes, there are better football podcasts out there.
  • scdy12
    Oh boy….
….this podcast has really gone downhill without Jenny. Wow. Your post-round 1 draft podcast? Made me wish I was in a dentist chair, doing something less painful. At some point, when options are limited because I’ve listened to the good (football) ones already, I need to remember “music first!”
  • Yogi212121
    Please apologize a little more
Insufficient apologies for getting a birthplace wrong because we all know you get cancelled for that. How pathetic. You waste our time apologizing for nothing. As if someone is outraged. Please stop. Try acting like normal human beings. It’s insulting.

    Awful

    Worst football podcast ever!!!!

    Great football!
    Great information and fun too

I just Unsubscribed - No Need to Waste Anymore Time Here
There are plenty of great football podcasts with passionate, knowledgeable and prepared hosts, however this is not one of them. Just listening to the latest podcast lets me know how lazy and unprepared these guys are when talking about some teams. The takes are inaccurate and lack substance. If you are going to judge, criticize or praise GM’s, do so based on accurate information and not on your impressions of that person. All you are doing is misleading fans. My advice is to look elsewhere until these podcasters are replaced.

Love this pod. Great analysis. Best coverage on Watson. Love.

My Monday morning go-to during football season
Goodbye Jenny ☹️, and good luck at NYT. Hope you’ll be back to visit with your usual great insight.
  • SunBroSolaire
    Great show with a Karen.
This is a good football show that deserves to be in any real fans podcast rotation. They are all knowledgeable, however Jenny can come off as a bit self righteous and definitely comes off as a Karen. Problems with positive Antonio Brown commentary. Let’s just say, I’m not surprised she is an expert on the authenticity of apologies. She disliked the Mayfield commercial when he was talking to the housewives because of the “suburban housewife trope” she sort of has a point, but is there no value to tropes or “characters” in entertainment? Of course there is, it’s our job not to assume or label real humans that’s way. But here I am on a FOOTBALL show review talking about philosophical differences on tropes. Too much of this stuff.

    Excellent reporting!
Well researched and presented in an objective manner. This has been the best presentation I have listened to on this topic. Please continue to keep up the good work!

    Too much
Great content but come on with the amount of commercials. You are pushing it and do you really need to pack in that many ads?
  • laeohwebafpgaergh
    Finally unsubscribed
Connor and Jenny are so bad. I just couldn't any more. It's officially out of my NFL rotation.

    Browns sympathizer podcast
If you wanna hear way too much about the Cleveland Browns this is for you.
  • Senska11
Try to talk football, not social/politics
Typical SI these days - they drop the guys (Andy, Albert, etc) who actually know, understand, and talk football and keep the hacks who would rather talk about social justice, or politics than actual football (Jenny, Conor, Gary). Add in the insanely stupid, not even worth talking about "predictions" and completely not relevant stuff and you have a total waste of time. Delete this one.
  • SadlerWells
Decent except Jenny, bring back Andy!
Why is she on this pod, terrible voice, terrible contributions. Bring back Andy Benoit!
  • JoshBo619
    Where is Andy Benoit?
I used to listen to this podcast religiously, Andy Benoit left and then came back for a bit and then left again. What a tremendous lost, I don’t discredit who is on the podcast now. They don’t live in Idaho and have any touch on west coast teams. Andy Benoit was great with Gary and I miss it. It’s been over a season plus, and I was hoping Andy would come back at least to breakdown the beginning of the season. I miss’em, listening to Gary and Andy would be comforting given all the craziness in the world today.

    Thank you
I’m an original listener from the weakside pod who came over when Jenny and Conor did. You guys are always interesting, engaging, and informative. Most importantly, I’m extremely grateful for how you both handle social justice issues. You are the only podcasters/reporters I’m exposed to who I think always knock it out of the park with that. You acknowledge and stay within your bounds, while bringing to light the importance of those topics. I especially appreciate how you’ve handled the Watson situation. Your articles have been well done, and so have the conversations on the pod. So much of the sports reporting I see about Watson dismisses the entire situation, which is especially frustrating to me as a female football fan. So it’s refreshing to see you guys talk about it in an informed, unbiased way that gives voice and respect to the victims. Thanks for your work!

Who Da(t) heck are we this year?
Hey guys, love the show! As a Saints fan I think I speak for all when I say a regression has always been expected this year, but I still can’t seem to put my finger on what a reasonable expectation is for the season. Optimistically, I look at the schedule and think I can find 10 wins (giving us a hopeful series split with the Bucs) and with any luck against the Patriots and/or Titans we could possibly get to 11 or 12….possibly being a very weighted word. I actually don’t mind the thought of Jameis at quarterback, especially if it means we can use Taysom in some sort of tight end/slot back position which I think will be helpful in short yardage situations. Am I way out in left field here? Thanks, Charlie! P.S. we need the madlibs all year!

    Bring back Albert Breer
    Ditch this show
  • R2RS88
No Andy no listen. Albert stinks!
Andy gave you a great perspective on the games. They gave you facts and then educated opinions. A must for real football fans. Albert being forced down my throat. He is a joke. The single worse I have ever heard. Fire that clown and please separate the pods as I like Andy but Albert will force me to cancel the podcast all together. Albert is terrible. No idea how he has a job. Albert knows nothing and brings absolutely nothing of value to the podcast. He’s just the worse Now Andy is gone. What a joke and one less listener. Don’t give it a try. You will thank me.
  • statedept1515
    Fantasy is stupid
It’s a separate “game” that ruins the realness of football for me. Less (no) segments on that would be great.
  • Dine G
    Great podcast, and
Please, please ditch the fantasy segment. If fantasy is that popular, give them their own like you did betting.

    Stop TALKING! You sniveling trolls
Stop using your platform as a soapbox for players regarding performance incentives. Your message is a cancer for your listeners that have nothing better to do but regurgitate this vitriol without taking a second to consider how insanely pathetic and nearsighted is your message. Have you completely lost your flipping mind and absolutely all perspective on reality? These are grown men not toddlers. Get over yourselves. incentives for production in addition to a top level salary and industry leading benefits is great for everyone. I assume most self respecting adults and the UNION the players ALL belong too feel the same way.

    Trash trash trash
Fire Andy Benoit and keep the rhythm guy/question/host role and fill it w trash people who can’t offer half the analysis?????? Who is making decisions. You replace Gary, not Andy. Andy just needs a facilitator, which is easy. I liked Gary but this is awful, the folks you are replacing him with. Unsubscribed and deleted. This is going to kill SI. So sad. Y’all will continue to lose more and podcasts are the future so good job capsizing. I’ll start buying as many cover issues as I can bc in 20 years, SI is gone. UPDATE: Jenny is trash lol I don’t care about anything she has to say ever
  • nicknameistaken5thtry
    Biased
Seem to only report on their favorites, glossing over many good teams. Why have Fantasy part of this podcast too? Should be separate. Too many other good podcasts to waste time with this one any longer.

They’ve Ruined the Best NFL Podcast Around
Initial thoughts from initial review... Gary and Andy have a great rapport. They are extremely knowledgeable about the NFL but are quick to admit when they don’t know something. A rare blend of competency and humility - which is extremely refreshing in today’s media. I wish they covered the Thursday night and Monday night games each week but that’s being nit picky. My biggest gripe is they don’t do a preview podcast each week so I could listen to them twice a week instead of just once. Update with recent changes 1. Andy and Gary are doing two podcasts a week now! Yeah!!! 2. Albert Breer podcast is now included. Ok. Not a fan of his podcast but ok. 3. A new gambling podcast is included. Boooo. I don’t want that at all. Dropping from 5 stars to 3. All 3 are for Andy and Gary. Please split the podcasts apart again! Updating again I’m starting to consider unsubscribing. The gambling is still there and I don’t want it (delete every week). I have to skip the fantasy segment every Monday. And there’s no Andy. I like the guests with Gary but the show misses a lot without Andy.
