PlossimusprimeFilling in the gaps for a mostly console game.I play most of my games on consoles, but still love all gaming news. This podcast gives me exactly what I want in a PC centric podcast.

Bill444444444Good showBut sometimes the audio quality is really bad. Like the most recent episode. It's really bad. Otherwise it's entertaining

Persuader9799Audio problemsI love the podcast but something has been wrong with the audio. It's like it's only coming from my left earbud (no it's not my earbuds I tried other pairs) and every now and then the sound will jolt to the right earbud for half a second.

HockeyHostileGreat show, fills a needed PC gapThis is one of the funniest, best, most informative PC-gaming shows out there. I can't wait to hear more from the crew. This will be a staple podcast of PC fandom for years to come

Taco surpriseLong time IGN fan but...This site and this show are a total letdown for me. I tried to enjoy their new stuff, but just can't. I no longer subscribe to any of their podcasts after being a 10 year listener/reader of theirs. Bummer.

nolfA huge credibility hit for IGN and its commentatorsMy Letter to the editor: Episode 4 of IGN Overclocked featured a 15+ segment discussing a steam handheld product, steam machines and generally PC system requirements. During this segment the hosts make dozens of inaccurate statements about PC Gaming including hard drive, memory and GPU requirements for games. They painted a deeply inaccurate picture of gaming today and made product comparisons across architectures(ARM vs X86) that are frankly laughable. Thats like comparing a SUV and a tank because the both transport things. They repeatedly made factually inaccurate statements such as claiming Civ 5 requires far more HD space than the product(Smach Zero) they were discussing has. In fact the product has 400% of the needed space. It was clear that they were not educated about PC Gaming and hadn't done even the most basic of research. Five minutes on Steam would show even an uneducated person that most of what they were saying was inaccurate. This team comes across as having little to no knowledge about computer gaming. For me, this was a huge credibility hit both for the commentators on the podcast and for the IGN brand. It makes me wonder how much of what is done at IGN is simply made up. I’m reconsidered my 15+ year relationship with IGN after this and putting my IGN house party t-shirt in the closet.

Strom426Thank IGNIf you are a console fanboy get the hell out of here! Overclocked caters to the PC master race that resides in the ivory towers of awesome. Dan Stapelton's analytical reviews and Mitch Dyers upbeat personality mix well so far. Keep it up guys! End of Review
