    Acquisition Inc. Origins
The start of Acquisitions Inc! Also, a valuable introduction to fourth edition rules for those who have an interest in it.

For anyone who enjoys learning where D&D came from...
For anyone who enjoys learning where D&D came from, or those who just enjoy listening to campaign sessions, this is the podcast. I played D&D once in the early 2000s and didn’t pick it up again until 2019 and I can’t get enough of this show. And it’s not just because of who is playing. The players are great, but learning about how older editions were played interests me just as much. I can’t wait to catch up to the most recent episodes.

    Dice Shame KILLED it!
The feature with my all time favorite podcast, Dice Shame, was an incredible adventure that has hooked me into listening to the other great players on this podcast. The story was incredibly well done, the RP was top notch and the DM truly made you feel like you were in Icewind Dale. I’ll have to give the player module a look!

Podcasts of Wildemount: Flintlocks. & Fireballs
I was already a fan of other Wizards podcasts. It wasn’t until my favorite gaming podcast, Flintlocks & Fireballs, did an episode that I subscribed and reviewed.

The “Into Avernus” arc is so well done. I cried after the third episode with the How we Roll squad.

    Love the Ravnica content!
I deeply appreciate the explorations into each guild for inspiration (I had not thought of Rakdos like that!). I even more deeply appreciate the representation of people far beyond white males on this show. Thank you!

    Just start listening
As someone new to D&D this has been a joy. While it doesn’t teach on how mechanics work, you can still enjoy, gain ideas, and have a laugh. A must listen to newbies and pros

WOTC marketing hype that, sadly, doesn’t fulfill..
So I listened to the Podcasts of Waterdeep and was drawn in by the great storyline. Now, it is no secret that Wizards of the Coast uses podcasts as a promotional engine for its wares. I’m fine with that. But when a podcast intimates that the running storyline is from a WOTC publication well, that’s what I expect. So I rushed out and bought a copy of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and even had it overnighted so I could have some time to get it ready for my players.. sadly, this storyline is not even in there. There is nothing about a stealing a box from a ship, starting the adventure out, nor are there even very many parallels between this series of podcasts and the book itself. Will I still use it? Sure.. as confusing as it is written (WOTC has never been just straight with info), but the beginning quests and such fall very much flat compared to the podcasts. So I give this podcast a one star due to misinformation to just promote a WOTC book that even tells you in the very first few pages you need THREE other of their books to use this one effectively. You all need to go look at the origins TSR books and get your own inspiration from then on how to write a reference book. Shame on you, Wizards! And shame on this podcast for the bait-and-switch promotion of their book!

    Enthralling Narrative
Absolutely the most engaging and compelling storytelling available today. Chris Perkins is a master DM, both a guide and a tormentor. Please create podcasts going back to episode 1. “Never forget the name: Bag Of Nails!”

Please keep adding new shows. Hopefully Dice, Camera (I see the irony here), Action episodes will get added.

    Mines of Madness!
This podcast is what brought me back into the fold of D&D after many, many years. The group dynamic a fluid and fun, and the action intense and very well narrated by Greg. The D&D Next rules they're using are outdated now the 5e had shipped, but the game of D&D is timeless.
  • SilvrSTdisposal
    Hoooolllllyyyy ssssshhhhhiiiioooottttt
The early episodes are an example of why I think why people weren't too fond of 4th edition but become amazing and reach a level that is rarely gained by podcasts once 5th edition is introduced! The group is amazing and are funny as hell, even when new players are introduced! The later episodes are easily the best but take nothing away from the previous ones... I will be introducing a NPC based on the 1000 XP gained from listening to each episode (thank you Mr. Perkins) in my groups campaign (I'm a DM.) Anyone remotely interested in D&D should listen to this, especially, to see the progression from 4e to 5e and gain a better understanding of how the game works. Also, listen to DragonTalk, it's really good and accessible for those wanting to learn more about D&D!!!
  • @Eli_TheDM
    Absolutely wonderful.
As a huge D&D fan, I'm always looking for new ways to enjoy an old story- and this hit the nail on the head for me. You guys knew what I wanted without me even knowing I wanted it! Sad thing is I follow culture as well as I can, and am active on social media with the community, and yet it took almost a year for this to come to my attention. Thanks for every single thing that you do, WotC. I love you folks more every day.

    The Brightest Green Flame Around!!!!!
This is by far one of the best D&D actual play podcasts around. The characters and DMing are second to none. You guys rock!!!!!! Jim Darkmagic is my hero and Chris Perkins is a phenomenal DM. If you want a great story, great cast and great podcast. Look no further. I could see people complaining about audio quality, but they are entitled wieners.

    Great show
Even in audio form I can enjoy listening to these guys all play. I am still waiting for an audio version of Pax Prime 2016!

    Finally!
So happy they moved this to its own channel! I hope they do more Podcast series between their live PAX shows.

    Had me in tears (TM)
If this podcast were merely about the exploits of Jim Darkmagic it would be more than enough.

Please post the latest PAX games in more timely fashion
Still waiting on this year's PAX West game (you know, the one dealing with the current Storm King's Thunder storyline). Would love to be able to listen to that during the work commute before next year's PAX. There's also the Force Grey sessions & Dice, Camera, Action games... Can we get those too?

    Dungeon Delve is Awesome
Need I say more? Now that they have separated all of the live Acquisitions Inc. podcasts and put them into its a separate podcast, it makes it so easy to listen to them everyday. And since they are all audio podcasts, I don't have to worry about sucking my battery dry streaming them on YouTube.
  • IST_Audius
    Long Time Listener
Started listening to Aq.Inc. series when 4e started releasing and look forward to new episodes every time they're even hinted at. I love Chris Perkins as DM, but I would like to ask Strahd--I mean, Straub to come back so we can get another look at Dark Sun or have Jerry DM once again for a change of pace. Thanks for making these their own podcast as well, makes it easier to listen to JUST these podcasts and not have to wade through a backlog of podcasts to find these gems.
  • Drakuldragon
    Love it!!
Love every minute of this! I'm recently getting back to playing D&D after nothing for 10+ years. This was a great refresher for one, and a WONDERFUL source of entertainment!! I wish Will had more episodes because he's a favorite of mine from the Star Trek days. I found this one while searching for Critical Role in podcast form, which they don't have sadly. That being said I absolutely love all the guys, and I find myself replaying the sessions by watching the videos of PAX west to see the elaborate set designs. I hope to make it to one of their live shows one day!! **note- there is a separate podcast, Acquisitions Incorporated the series, that takes place between pax east and west 2016.

Catching up with the old stuff
I started watching the vids in 2014 as they were play testing 5e and went back as saw the older ones but didn't know about the games between the cons. I'm glad they did separate these from Dragon Talk as it's much easier to parse through. Fun group to listen to as they build their in game personas.

    Classic
Lots of fun. I can see why it's such a classic. Minor sound quality issues, but the content makes it worth it.

    HOURS OF FUN!
If you try and explain to someone -- I'm listening to people playing D&D ... it sounds CRAZY! But if you actually listen to this podcast, you get HOURS OF FUN! I've had some great LOL moments, and I'm constantly sharing stories I've heard, "borrowing" ideas and rewinding so I can share what just happened with someone that will listen. Love this podcast!
  • sasjeff
    Why no recent updates?
Great podcast... but it hasn't been updated in a while. And the Subscribe button on the Acquisitions Inc webpage links to the Dragon Talk podcast; wrong one. Please fix!
  • Enrique Guem
Chris Perkins deserves these five stars
Great stories and dungeons played through by a very funny cast of characters. Props to the best DM in the biz.

I'm so nerdy, am I the only one who noticed?
The latest 2 episodes you made spelled incorporated wrong, it's not incorproated, unless it's a joke in which case ha ha.

Love this! Would love to have the Video versions too. Robot Chicken and others, not just Ack Inc. episodes.

D&D In Pure Form - Fun!
There is no higher praise I can offer for the Dungeon Delve podcast than to say this - it's a lot of fun. Listening makes me want to play D&D, to enjoy the highs and lows of polyhedrals rolling and shared storytelling.
