IrishboysterGreat!Very informative podcast.

BuffaloJenGreat adviceTribe of Mentors and Tools for Titans have been instrumental tools for growth in the last couple of years for me personally and professionally. I have taken some of the advice and used it during job interviews (got the job of my dreams-changing careers!), coaching opportunities with my direct reports and in my personal life (Pu-ehr tea anyone!). I have given these books to my adult sons and friends as gifts. I also love the podcast too! Thanks Tim!

ericciNot your typical TF (hint: not a good thing)Even if you haven’t read ToM, the format of this podcast the way TF describes it sounds incredibly compelling; in execution, it’s stale/artificial re-reading of book excerpts (often with plenty of stumbles), low production value and zero of the warmth or authenticity of the TF show. I get that he’s experimenting with a different format and it’s undeniable that the guests are quality, but the scripted questions, robotic-sounding answers and lack of interaction between host and guest — because it’s all canned — don’t work for me. Rating 3 stars because of the sheer star power but otherwise don’t recommend. For a short, mastery-focused podcast with outstanding storytelling, thought leadership and production value, see Masters of Scale.

radtown2Everything great but the sound! It’s just too detailed, hearing him swallow, smack lips way too loud - soften it down. Otherwise need to lower volume so much.

Yukyuk Guru17 episodes 3 keepersTim Urban was my favorite. He is funny and quick on his feet. Spot on except it’s easy to invent and run a study guide company. Sharon Wynne, founder of teacher certification XAMonline (800 books every state, every level). I also ordered several of the books recommended by a brilliant poker player who has played her own cards right in life.

Cobe_monGood content - skip first 2 minutesBook recommendations and other tidbits from interesting people...Intro gets old fast so skip the first two minutes of BS

Shad Yon FireGuest suggestionI just started your podcast and look forward to more inspiring listens. You should talk to Horsewoman Sherry Cervi. She is the best at what she does and is a terrific mentor. Would be a “hidden gem” besides to those of us who follow her example already!

BriMariaI like it! Don’t mind the delivery.I feel if you’re going to do 15min-1hr podcasts while bringing value it’s okay for people to read their answers. Although it can feel unauthentic, the people who are delivering the message are authentic people who are not wasting any of your time while giving valuable insight. This isn’t supposed to be a talk show so it isn’t one. Listen to what’s being said, not HOW it’s being said.

I do not have a nickname 123Vegan EvangelismI'm suprised that Tim would allow James Cameron and his wife to spout such unscientific vegan evangelist tripe without being challenged. Maybe because it's not even an interview, just a running dialogue? I don't even know where to start, but a few things that were objectively wrong and questionable: 1) Cameron's wife said "There's even protein in iceberg lettuce". Never mind that you would have to eat an entire head of lettuce to equal an ounce of meat. 2) James Cameron said that animal protein is less efficient for human consumption. This is 100% false, animal protein is far more bioavailable than plant protein, along with several other key nutrients for human health (omega 3s, B12, etc). 3) Carbon and environmental footprint: Plant based proteins require a lot more water and fertilizers than simple fruits and vegetables, to the point that per gram of protein, almonds are about on par with beef in that regard. I could go on, but I won't. I found it ironic that the Cameron's call for less evangelism and confirmation bias, when everything they said was incredibly biased and evanglized, to the point that I question why Tim would publish this without at least some dialogue on his part to challenge their tripe. UNSUBSCRIBED

Jenny Allen RamirezAlways FantasticThank You Tim for your outward focus. This is so valuable. My brain turns into Sponge Bob and soaks up this juicy info. People and their endless creativities fill me like the Ocean.

CarboholicRobListening is great, too!I bought Tribe of Mentors a few months ago and sipped from it until just recently finishing it, all the while applying tips and quotes to my life and reading dozens of recommendations from the mentors. All of them have been subtly life-changing. This podcast is a great taste of what that book has to offer. Thank you, Tim.

JcdubbiddybbjhgGood stuff but too shortPerfect podcast for self improvement. The best way to learn how to do something is to find someone who has already done it and follow their guidance. I wish this was a little longer, like an hour. 2-4 hour podcasts are too long and 30 minutes is too short.

Jballz*69More please...I remember one day Tim was talking about this new startup app that he was taking an advisor role in developing. It was only in the Bay Area but the app would send for a private black car and driver anywhere you were, so you could look all James Bond cool getting picked up. I’m not sure what year that was but it was Uber. It’s been fun watching him hack reality in real time for the last decade of my own life, I’ve learned a lot from him. He has introduced me to so many powerful people and concepts. Neil Strauss, Jocko Willink, Gary Vee, Eric Weinstein, Derek Sivers, Seth Godin, to name just a few who have utterly reshaped my way of thinking and doing. I hadn’t happened upon this mini podcast until this week. Listened to them all, wish there were more. Perfect length for my schedule and great format. Also inspired me to go ahead and order the book (I probably would have anyway but now I’m sure it’s great). Thanks Tim, and further thanks for going against the consensus tide with your commitment to psychedelics and trauma resolution research. Hugely important and long overdue.

Sascha4realGreatThank you Tim!! Amazing contribution. Theme music not what I expected I hoped for. Content is great!!!

itmeyepPoor deliveryI listened to the beginning of the Adam Robinson interview and it was obvious that Adam was reading his answers. I could tell by the inflection in his voice. It was like watching a movie with bad acting. While he had some great words to say, the way he delivered was off-putting in my mind. Maybe the rest of the episodes aren’t like this, but this one put a bad taste in my mouth. I find it surprising that Tim allowed this sub-par quality interview under his brand.

XO Man of WarGreat Shirt Version of TimThis show is a wonderful supplement to the Tim Ferriss show. Nice to have a quick version available.

Culaman01Thank you!!This is just what I needed. Loved your other podcast interviews, just didn’t have the time for 2-4 hour episodes. Love these short format insight filled interviews. Please keep them coming.
-
CoachBettsGreat ContentNever complain about the depth Tim goes into, but these brief ToM episodes are excellent and easy to digest.

Phoneguy1926More like "canned" than "distilled"Tim says this is a "much more distilled" version of his world famous podcast "The Tim Ferris Show." While I appreciate the free insight into the people in his new book, the canned responses and pre-taped questions strip the show of the flavor and depth I've come to expect from Tim. It's still worth a listen, but tailor your expectations. This is more like reading the patient's chart than getting to listen to the doctor work directly with the patient.
-
ClintCarltonGreat Insights & Approaches4.5 stars. I haven't heard a podcast by Tim that I haven't gotten something out of. Tim, that intro jingle needs to go! PLEEEEEEASE!!!!

KkkkkkkkkhhhhhhgghAutobios on the goPerfect size and content. It's the parts of an autobiography that you would want to read for application to your own life.

TBuckeyFantastic!Arguably my favorite podcast! This show is more of a bite-sized approach to his original podcast, which makes it more appealing to me. You really get to the meat of the interviews, so you can listen to it daily if you so wish. Also, I don't have to about the lewd commentary that takes place on his other show. I would highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking to find some great nuggets in bite-sized chunks. Thanks Tim!
-
JewelNBCWOW! Brief but Brilliant.I love the condensed form of detailed info. I purchased Tribe of Mentors pretty quickly but love having these sound bites with me throughout my day. Each one is truly like getting a mentoring session with that particular person. Thanks ever so much!!
-
BklyntoThaiGirl72Love the showI’m getting great information from all the mentors your bring to the podcast. I just started listening last week and I can’t get enough. Thank you.

SoCalCynMehWorking to enjoy this. Will keep trying to listen and find value. None yet.
-
SD_BOSGood insights, stale deliveryQuick snippets of insight, but most guests seem to be simply reading from a script or directly from the book instead of focusing on being engaging
-
Chris Butcher34another good oneThe positive attitude of this podcast adds to its quality of in depth analysis
-
BigtrashdayGreat short form podcastI love the long form format that we usually see from TF- but sometimes a podcast that is a little shorter fits better into my day. Same high quality questions- just a more manageable amount of time when you have a hectic day. I subscribed to this podcast after my first listen.
-
Miles Prendergast5 STARSGreat conversation. An exceptional brake from life’s redundant routine.
-
nicolesyGreat content, subpar audio qualityI really want to love this podcast, and tried listening to a few episodes but didn’t make it much past that. The audio quality is subpar, and it’s particularly noticeable after listening to another podcast (I listened to an episode of SPI just before this played). I know Tim Ferriss creates great content, but I can’t get past the poor audio to enjoy this podcast.

amelia et“When the student is ready. . . the teacher will appear.” My #1 teacher and mentor. Hands down. Thank you, brother. You have taught me the importance of asking way better questions and it has rocked my world. What a treasure you are.

LAWade82Apply and FlyThank you TimTimTalkTalk for stellar tips and tools in such an accessible format!! I just listened to the “How to say no” episode, applied the tips and sent off an email requesting a large commitment of time. I got a response back ten minutes later thanking me for my thoughtful no and encouraging me to continue with my self-care policy. I gained 3 hours each week to connect with my passions or to recharge (Its still hard for me to use “relax”, thanks for the reframe in one of you previous podcasts about “recharging”).
-
KatzjamrTipsJust the tip, and Tim continues to give more than just tips to help you make your life, work and relationships better. Givers gain, and listen to any or all of the Ferris podcasts, you will be better for it.
